Soybean Germination Response to Algae Extract and a Static Magnetic Field Treatment

The present study examines the separate and synergistic effects of macroalgal extract static magnetic field (SMF) on germination soybean seeds (Glycine max (L.) Merrill), cv. Abelina, seedling growth, chlorophyll, carotenoids content in leaves. Algal was produced from freshwater green macroalga (Cladophora glomerata) using ultrasound-assisted extraction. tests were conducted two stages. Firstly, different concentrations extracts, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%, applied to a paper substrate. best results (taking into account percentage, seedlings length weight, pigments leaves) observed for 20% 80% extracts. At same stage, exposed SMF (exposure times 3 12 min inductions 250 500 mT) studied. developed determined group treated at with induction mT. In final step, simultaneous algal extracts treatment mT tested. Taking all parameters, use is recommended.
